Alocasia Black Velvet Pink Corm

Alocasia Black Velvet Pink is a captivating variegated form of Alocasia reginula, featuring the same deep, velvety near-black leaves as the standard Black Velvet, accented with soft pink variegation and delicate silvery veining. The plush, suede-like texture of the foliage paired with the pink sectoring makes this a highly desirable and eye-catching collector’s plant. It remains compact and slow-growing, making it well suited to terrariums, cabinets, and other enclosed high-humidity setups. Growing from a central corm, it prefers bright, indirect light, chunky well-draining aroid mix, consistent moisture, and warm, stable conditions. As with most variegated Alocasias, it is more delicate than non-variegated forms and benefits from experienced care and a stable growing environment.
