Monstera Dubia

A charming shingling species that behaves quite differently from its larger Monstera cousins. When young, Dubia presses its small, dark green leaves flat against a support with a beautiful silver-grey mosaic pattern, creating a striking shingled effect. As it matures and finds more light, the leaves gradually enlarge and begin to fenestrate.

This species does best when given a rough, textured support such as a piece of bark, coco pole, or wooden board to climb, allowing it to shingle naturally. It prefers bright, indirect light, high humidity, and a well-draining aroid mix to encourage healthy shingling growth.

A brilliant choice for collectors wanting something compact and different, especially suited to terrariums or humid grow cabinets in its juvenile form.

Imported from Thailand. Plants are shipped bare-rooted. Minor leaf yellowing, leaf loss and acclimation stress following import are normal and expected.
