Pyrrosia lingua ‘Variegated’

A striking variegated form of the tongue fern, prized for its strap-shaped, leathery fronds splashed with creamy white and yellow against deep green. Unlike many variegated aroids, Pyrrosia lingua brings a completely different texture to a collection: thick, felted foliage that has a slightly architectural, almost sculptural presence. The variegation pattern is irregular and often quite dramatic, with some fronds nearly half-white.

A lovely choice for anyone wanting to diversify beyond the usual variegated favourites, this epiphytic fern has real character and holds its colour well as it matures.

Imported from Thailand. Plants are shipped bare-rooted. Minor leaf yellowing, leaf loss and acclimation stress following import are normal and expected.
