Alocasia Dragon Scale Marble Corm

Alocasia Dragon Scale Marble is a beautifully variegated form of Alocasia baginda ‘Dragon Scale’, showcasing the same thick, heavily textured, dimpled leaves as the standard variety, now marbled with patches of white and light green throughout the silvery-green foliage. The scale-like texture combined with the marbled variegation pattern creates a truly unique and eye-catching appearance, with each leaf displaying its own distinct pattern. As a variegated cultivar, growth is generally slower and the plant requires more stable conditions than its non-variegated counterpart, including consistent warmth, high humidity, and bright, indirect light. It grows from a central corm and does best in a chunky, well-draining aroid mix with even moisture and protection from cold drafts or sudden environmental shifts. Given its rarity and variegation, it is best suited to experienced growers.
