Alocasia Maharani Albo Corm

Alocasia Maharani Albo is a rare variegated form of Alocasia ‘Maharani’ (also known as the “Grey Dragon”), showcasing the same thick, dimpled, textured leaves in a soft grey-green tone, now accented with crisp white variegation. The compact, low-growing habit combined with the plant’s heavily textured, dragon-scale-like foliage and white patches makes it an especially striking and sought-after collector’s piece. As a variegated cultivar, it tends to grow more slowly and requires more stable conditions than the standard Maharani, including consistent warmth, high humidity, and bright, indirect light. It grows from a central corm and does best in a chunky, well-draining aroid mix with even moisture and protection from cold drafts or sudden environmental changes. Due to its rarity and slower growth, it is best suited to experienced growers.
