Hoya Silver Moon

Hoya Silver Moon is a stunning variety prized for its thick, succulent-like leaves splashed with silvery speckles across a deep green backdrop. As the plant matures, the foliage can take on a lovely dusty, silvery sheen, making it a real showstopper for collectors. It’s a compact, slower-growing Hoya compared to some other varieties, with a naturally bushy habit that suits hanging baskets or trellises alike. Given time and the right conditions, mature plants may reward you with clusters of star-shaped, waxy flowers with a sweet fragrance.

Care tips: Bright, indirect light will bring out the best colouration in the leaves. Allow the growing medium to dry out between waterings, as Hoyas are prone to root rot in soggy conditions. A chunky, well-draining mix (such as one with bark, perlite and coco chips) is ideal.
