Hoya towutiensis is a lesser-known, highly sought-after species originating from the Towuti region of Sulawesi, Indonesia, prized amongst collectors for its rarity and distinctive character. The leaves are small to medium in size, thick and succulent, with a lovely deep green colouration that can develop reddish tinges when given plenty of bright light. It has a neat, semi-compact vining habit, making it a wonderful addition to a hanging basket or trained onto a small trellis. Given the right conditions, this species produces clusters of small, star-shaped flowers that add to its charm.

Care tips: Bright, indirect light will help bring out the best colouration and encourage healthy, compact growth. As with most Hoyas, allow the growing medium to dry out between waterings to avoid root rot, and use a chunky, well-draining mix.

Imported from Thailand. Hoyas may experience minor leaf blemishes or cosmetic imperfections during transit and acclimation. This is normal and does not affect the long-term health of the plant.
